Dr. Parviz Lalezari
Chief Life Science and Medical AdvisorV2R Group's Chief Life Science and Medical Advisor, Dr. Parviz Lalezari, is a world renowned biomedical researcher and hematologist. He is an Attending Physician at the Department of Medicine of Montefiore Medical Center, and a clinical Professor of Medicine and Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
Dr. Lalezari's career spans many acclaimed appointments including Director of the Montefiore Medical Center Blood Bank, Head of the Division of Immunohematology of Montefiore Medical Center, as well as President and CEO, Medical Director of Bergen Community Regional Blood Center. Dr. Lalezari also served on the Blood Bank Advisory Committee for the New York City Department of Health.
Dr. Lalezari is widely published with over 100 papers to his name in various biomedical research fields and he holds eight patents in hematology and life sciences. Additionally, Dr. Lalezari is the inventor of the Manual Polybrene Technique, the industry standard in international blood banking for decades. Dr. Lalezari took his medical degree from the University of Tehran followed by residency and fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
